Thread: need help with storm squadron endor mission
If it only has two guns (gun 0 and gun 1), then I'd guess it's actually a Nova. The nova doesn't have an aft gun, but a top and bottom one which both covers the aft.
As for taking it out, well, jousting it works nicely if you've got your boost button in easy access.
will that work Boom & Zoom..?
as I will not be able to land that many shots on it....
do you do that in combo with missles..?
no matter how frustrating storm squadron is for some.. the time to solve the puzzle even when not playing is most rewarding and great fun...
cannot wait to get home and take my Tie/int out....

Bomber strike is your friend as an Imperial. Use it on the Nova and it should be ALOT easier. Provided you've got it already.
euhmmm .. will not work.. as I do not have bomber strike... I choose components..
template is now 2322 so no overloads 3 .. besides I still need to get those flight chips altered for more power.. as weapon overpower draws too much energy... hope to do that somewhere this week.... as it has no hurry.. just threw off the droid stuff and chaff ..
YES.. threw them off.. I can survive without them ... atleast for now... besides I needed the room for my markIII proton missles .. with those I hope to get that beast on it's knees..... will keep you guys updated....
friends are always good in battle, and remember there expendable your not, so let them go in a do/take most of the damage before you go in and save the day, or atleast finish the mission.
key to that nova is to disable it, a few passes should do that, then clean off the guns while you hide in its blind spot. after the guns are all gone, dock and your done.
if you can manage to hire a ace for this mission it will be much less painful.

It will work as long as you are running the "proper" droid programs. Boost away 1.2+k, turn around and attack it head on. Target whichever sub-component you want and joust it at high (non boost) speeds. After you pass it, either dive below it or above it (only one turret should be able to hit you then, although I've had problems with this on Novas lately) and boost away 1.2+k. And repeat. ![]()
I'd suggest Weapon Overload 3, capacitor overload 3 or 4 and engine overload 3. Might need to use reactor overload to get all the power you need. Also, keep capacitor to shield shunt ready if you can fit it on your flight computer. (I think I only had WO3 and EO3 when I did that tier. Can't fit much more on the early flight computers).
As for missiles, nah, I wouldn't bother with those. Too little effect for the cost really.

hmm why does the server shutdown when you are in the middle of a 2-hour mission.... aaaarggghhhhhhhhhh
the proton torps.. did damage him.. too bad I had to rush.. 1 min left on server ![]()
it killed me as I came too close.. need to keep my distance a bit longer.... then I might crack it... did have it shields down and was doing ok.. bah

you stated you need to hyperspace twice at the end of the endor mission (one where you escort the enginners, then recapture a ship and get hit by waves of A-wings)
I need to know what you did exactly. Once you disable then retake the the ship and it starts to fly away is the key just to stay alive? so hyperspacing out of there is the way to go? or are you H-spacing out to repair then going back to the ship?
my problem is I cant kill the a wings fast enough and I quicklyhave 5 of them coming at me (that assuming I came kill any of them), fast little ba%tards.
