Hi everyone,

Well for some reason my ship keeps exploding. I am only 1221 and a newb in space and it's really frustrating. Today for instance, I launched my tie fighter into space and moments later exploded without any warning. I respawned at the space station and before I could repair my ship I blew up two more times!

This happened yesterday as well...I exploded twice and there was no one around.

At first I thought...well, maybe I bound a key to the wrong thing...so I went into options and reset everything to default. And I still explode. LOL.

It's so frustrating.

My ship is a standard tie fighter. I have put some components in it that I looted.

Here are the basics about my ship.

Mass 16899/19878

Energy 9558/11043

Chasis256/256

Another thing I noticed is I don't have a droid/flight computer. I thought I had one installed but now I don't see it. Could this be it?

I have really never heard of this before... Weird... Only thing I can think of is that you in some way eject, but I though that was only possible when your ship is damaged to some extent. And even then you have to click eject...

Well, maybe you can redeed your ship and unpack it again? Or maybe even buy another ship and try it?

it can't be the droid of flight PC, as I have flown many times without them.

Explosion loop. Sorry to hear it, its happened to me as well. All I can suggest until they figure out the issue is to get out of space as soon as you can and redeed your ship. If you have a yacht, try launching in the yacht and making sure everything there is smooth before generating your other ship and equipping it again.

Well thanks for the responses. I went ahead and bought another ship. Let's see what happens I guess.

this happened to me in a similar way, i was blown up by a missle and when i respawned the missles explosion animation was still going (didnt damage me tohugh just really annoying :smileymad

could be similar problem i suppose

Try going into the keymap in options and remove any binding to eject. The default is or use to be ctrl-x. You may just have a gliche where you are somehow ejecting like stuck key or something of that nature.
