How about an enormous epic battle between the rebels and the imperials? Think of it as an arena in space! Tons of ships flying around attacking one another...shooting...strafing...blowing up! The type where you can literally sit back and watch the show. Perhpas make it its own sector of space (kind of like kessel and such). Declare your faction when you enter the sector as rebel or imperial...but for all you freelance pilots...can also choose either side, or none! Blow up anyone you can! Have a veriety of Tier level spawns in different parts of the sector for people who are in low lvl tiers all the way up to the masters.

Have like a destroyer or two on one side....(ok I cant remember the rebel ship names)...and have the "large" rebel ships on the other side. Kind of like an HQ. This is where you start when you enter the sector after choosing a side. Freelance who choose "None" for a side will be able to spawn from a neutral HQ located somewhere in the midst of things. Also,you can see all theother player ships flying around blowing stuff up. Granted this would be extremely laggy in the current state of space combat, but the sector doesnt have to be as big as the others either. Or, to deminish the extreme laggyness it would cost, you could create two sectors. One for Rebel, One for Imperial. Freelance pilots can enter either one.

Have the battle last a month or two, then make the HQ's destroyable for some MASS xp, a badge, and maybe a sweet gift to go along with it. That way...whoever destroyes either the rebel or the imperial ships (the HQ) will win the battle, then the story can continue from there. It doesnt really have to be part of the story line. There are countless amounts of battles we never saw in the movies (I havnt read the books, so I wouldnt know about those).

I was reading through the forums and thought this might spice things up for a while if they were to do this. By all means, give me any input for ideas and such. Hope the devs read this one! I think its a great idea! I'm just throwing ideas out here, so a lot of what I say may be flawed and what not. Anything to give JTL a little boost! I'd sure like to do it!
