Thread: generating ships?

I got awarded the heavy x wing starfighter the other day. I got the badge and the deed for it and everything. But when I try to generate it it says I dont have the necessary badge to do so. So I bugged it, then I tried to generate my newly bought grievous ship deed, and it said the same thing. I didn't know you needed a badge to generate a looted ship. Anyways, anyone else have this problem?

I haven't had this problem. But they're probably bugged, like most everything else.

yah whether it's looted or not you have to be able to use it to generate it.

not that hard to understand..it's like any other item in the game..if you loot say recon armor but you personally use assault, you can't equip it now can you?
ship deeds are no different.

i have the same problem.i bought a belb tried to generate it i got the whole "you dont have the badge crap" i had 4 other people try and generate it..they got it to work.so i sent in a ticket,i got the "we know there is a problem,we are working on it...have a nice day blah blah,so i feel your pain

If you read the response above, you'd see the problem. Get 5 badges. If you have at least that many, go to a few poi's and get a few more.
If you have the "Advanced X-Wing" and haven't done the quest, well, you've answered your own question. Can't use one you got from someone else.

Known bug. Get 5 badges total. Go to a few POI's. That should do it.
