Thread: Gamebreaking bug: Autoturrets

I'm sure this is old, but it's getting really irritating on how gunboats or any ships that has turrets (not sure why the y-wing don't work heh) seems to be able to hit you dead on no matter what. While the gunboats does have a sweet spot (under it's belly), it's still VERY hard to do it heh...


The aggressors on the other hand, is the most formidable opponent atm being able to use their autoturrets and hit you non-stop no mater what direction you're facing (I thought the turrets were on the back of the aggressors).


I just hope this is fixed cause it's really an annoying and gamebreaking bug that can kill the game...

I agree, The AI never misses no matter how fast or what kind of weeving you do. Occasionally they miss as they over shoot you but any other shot will pop you.

I played around with attacking 2 diffrent types of "turret" ship. Tie "Aggressor", and Corsec "gunship".


First off the Tie Aggressor 5K exp per kill, if your a rebel pilot there isnt much stratigy because there going to aggro on you off the bat, if they do not then get in as close as possible leaving room for them to turn after you attack, set your target on the weapon and hold down the fire button.


Corsec Gunship 16K exp per kill, This monstor has 6 turrets but it can be beat very carefully and with patience. This ship moves really slow, so move up on it and match speed with it, adjust your speed and get within 530m no closter or farther, target its reactor, and start shooting. If and when it makes a banked turn you will start to drift too close so back off, 6 turrets can finish you off fast. I havent found a secret blind spot, but there weapons do have a 530m range but yours should. its very precise that your didtance can be between 530m and 532m or your not going to hit it.


Do be carfull about targeting the reactor on turret ships, allthough it will disable there main weapon, sometimes the turrets keep on fireing, if its the case then you will have to take out all its guns, or if its disabled just keep your distance and finish it off. Seems if you dont target individual weapons the ship will go down faster.


you can find both ship's wandering not far from the Dath station, Corsec 2000m+ on one side Tie's 2000m+ on the other side. everything there is Tier 4.

I want my own TIE Aggressor to have auto turrets lol. The AI controlled models has it, so why player ones don't?
