but if they ejected and ended up on a planet that would mean they have already gone through the atmosphere, so, in other words you would load on the planet to see maybe one smoking boot there or something.

Then you would HAVE to use repair kits since you wouldnt be able to lunch to space since all the damage to your ship

i think the idea is you are in a ships cockpit which has ejected from the main chassis.


this is where you float about until picked up by the local cleaners who tow you, your cockpit, and your bits to the nearest repari station
