Thread: Whatever happened to Flash Speeder's Turret?

We were all told the vehicle would have a turret mounted on it for it's defense, and this was our incentive for preordering JTL. I recall that the turret was removed in the final weeks of beta to fix a problem with it. Are there any plans to put it back? I was really excited about having a turret on my speeder. DEVs: would you guys mind putting the turret back on?

I'm looking right at my old pre-order box, and it just says
I see nothing there about "turrets."

I think the turret thing was a mistake made by Gamestop a while backif I remember correctly, there never actually was a turrett, must have been some mix up somewhere along the line.

I never saw something about a turret.......
We all know that there is no fighting when you have mounted a vehicle, so a turret would be useless in this game.......

Also people in the Uk were unable to get this reward for pre-ordering JTL, thats all im saying, just a thought and have fun with your vehicle.

Sorry if im a bit slow but i would have thought a game where people from all over the world play together the same offer would be offered to all customers at the same price rather than penalising people who live outside the boarders of America.
I do apologise about thinking all consumer are required equal treatment.

While agree that all of JTL customers should be subject to equal treatment, this topic of European customers not getting the pre-order reward has been hashed & rehased several times on this board. But suffice it to say, the pre-order offer for the Flash Speeder was only an offer from Gamestop & EB Games. If you didn't pre-order from one of those two places, then sorry to say, you were out of luck. It's not a case of preferantial treatment as some may suspect, it's merely a case of two stores who are knonw to give additional bonuses if you pre-order from them. Of course they had to get SOE's blessing on this, but no other stores stepped up to the plate to make similar offers like this in the European market.
My .02.....now where's my change?

I was wondering about the same thing for the turret because I was all like, "Sweet! There's gonna be a turret on it!"
Even if it didn't work... it would still be cool to have it on there. i know it doesn't say anything on the actual game box, but in the description for the pre-order game when I... pre-ordered it... it said there was a turret on it. I ordered my game from the gamestop website.

Some of the early pics of the flash speeder showed a small gun turret.
If you look in game, you'll see a small round dot near the rear of the speeder. If memory server correctly that is where it should be.
Really hoping either the combat re-vamp or GCW re-vamp introduces pilotable at-st's, rebel speeders, and some vehicular combat!!!!
