Too many times will I be somewhere just spamming my key for "Target under recticle" searching for targets, or - specific ships. It'd be nice to be able to find either a specific ship-type by having the ships' computer scan for it. After all,we can manually do the same thing, just that it takesa little while .. so it wouldn't be an "exploit" to include something that'd promptly give you a target.

target range is a difficult thing to balance in space because while its a lot bigger then ground (relatively) in PVP it would lead to exploiting.
