I'm completely stuck on the Jabba's Gifts mission for freelance pilots that you receive from Beissa. I've been killed numerous times on this mission and I have tried different tactics but I get so overwhelmed by Dathomir Freelance Killers I can't get anywhere with it. At most I think I've been able to dock with the 3rd Imperial ship but I get destroyed - usually I don't even get to the second ship.

If anyone has any tips or hints for getting through this mission I'd appreciate it. I'm not finding anything.

Unfortunately I went with Special Warships and Advanced Starship Component Use when I picked my tier 3 skills because I didn't know I'd have to finish this mission before I could train in Advance Techniques. I don't know if it would make a difference to have IFF Transponder Scramble but I'm thinking it would have been the better choice. Anyway that is not an option for me right now.

Yeah, this is a tough mission, not so much in that the enemies are particularly difficult, just that there are so many of them. My only choice was to grab a friend to assist me with it. It's ok once you've docked with all the transports, as you're no longer vulnerable, but certainly for the first part, your only real choice is to bribe a friend or two into helping out.
