Thread: Reb Havok Sq? Is this a joke?
Only thing particularly hard about the Rebel 'Vette Mission is the couple of TIE Aggressors.

Getting to SS 4444, is much more of a problem than taking down the Star Ravager.

Depends on what you compare the mission with.
Compare the mission to the Imperial counter part, and the rebel mission will seem fairly insane. In general, Imperial tier 5 fighters are much harder than rebel ones, especially the aggressors (Yes, I have fought both sides), and the imperial gunboats are murder compared to the rebel ones (Twice the amount of turrets).
Add to that the fact that rebels can't call in bomber strikes...
But then again, I haven't yet seen a mission in space that can't be soloed, which is also true for the Star Ravager.

I've done all nine squadrons solo, and I agree. As an Imperial I had a rediculously easy time against the corvettes. I can still solo them as a Rebel, but I acutally have to pay attention to what I'm doing and be somewhat careful.
As to the missions that you do up to that point, I found them all to be rather easy. From my experience, JtL is only hard during your very first squadron, when you are still acquiring experience and decent equipment. That being said, yeah, Havoc is pretty easy, Crimson Phoenix even more so. The Vortex gave a decent challenge, though, imho. The easiest squadron to me was CorSec.

Yeah, that's true.
Also, I think alot of people might have a hard time with the missions since they don't actually use droid programs. I don't know how many people I've helped with tier 4 missions thatwere struggling along at a speed of 700, and completely clueless on droid/flight computer usage.
As for hard squadrons... The only thing I want to avoid when it comes to this is escort missions. Not that they are hard, but because they are so boring and insanely badly done. "Here is your mission: fly around at a speed of 100 for an hour". Just a timesink, really.
somewhat off topic here... I Was thinking of leaving My Rebel ACE,and jumping in to Freelance.. I was told if i did this, I would get X2 the xp for mastering pilot bfore, Is this true? And do i need to unload all ships, and deed them before i do it?
And does it really matter where i start off as a freelance pilot? And if so,Whats the easy one to do? ![]()
Oh,just in case..How about IMP pilot where is the best to start it at? ..Not saying i will go there, instead of freelance, but who knows..
i would have to drop all my rebel faction, and get on the good side of Imps to do that..i have like -2900 imp faction ![]()

Master twice, and you get X3 if I remember correctly.
In any case I found Imperial Inquisition the easiest, though I think it was bugged. The tier 4 missions were simple patrols in Dathomir. 5 minutes top for each.
well i'm votex (first time through) and i'm finding it very hard, i can't solo any of my tier 4 missions at all. and i went with a master corsec pilot guildy and we couldn't do it, rebel missions arn't THAT easy.
But this is vortex

No you don't. XP bonus is by faction, not by squadron.A triplePrivateer ace get 2x XP. A single Privateer, Rebel and Imperial ace gets 4x XP. A triple Privateer, Rebel and Imperial ace gets 4x XP. Unless there has been a stealth change with RotW/pub17.
The next one I'm working on with my alt is the Imperial squadron called "Black Epsilon". So far it's a piece of cake, and my alt is only 2211.
Really, each profession has a squadron that's pretty hard, one that's a bit easier, and one that's the easiest. You picked Arkon's Havoc Squadron, which, unforunately for you, is the easiest Alliance squadron.
