GET RID OF THE DAMN GUNBOATS!
If you can't get rid of them during the mission you don't deserve to be an Ace pilot.
I can handle them one at a time easily, as can most master pilots, but two imperial gunboats circling around each other, not stopping their circling even when you hit them is much much harder then soloing the vette.
If you don't take the gunboats out with the vette, they just go to the despawn point and circle each other and another vette won't spawn till those are gone.
So please, get rid of the gunboats, if you can't by yourself then get some friends to help you with it, but just leaving them is a disservice to all your fellow players.

lol didn't know they didn't despawn, i'll have to fly up there adn check it out sometime
