Okay, with the GCW Revamp coming up and JTL just released it would appear that JTL is missing GCW objectives.
This is an idea myself and Crushgroove (bria) camp up with. It ties the ground game and the space game together with objectives requiring massive interguild co-operation.
Capital Ships
Requires multiple people to operate
Guild Owned, No-One Person Owns the capitial ship.Information for capital ship is stored at the guild hall.
Cannot Land on a planet.
Requires supplies to continue to operate.
Can only dock and be stored and maintained at a space station.

Capital ship is attackable 24/7 by overt players unless it is stored at the space station.
If capital ship is disabled, IE engines, then spare parts have to be flown to it and installed while is in space.

Capital Ship can store and launch fighters. People can also dock and land on capital ship.
Capital Ship acts as a cloning center as well if fighters are destoyed. 5 Minute delay between launching if killed.

Ground Based Shield Generators
Protects orbital space station from attack 100%
Identical to faction base, look slightly different.
They are attackable 2 hours each day for maintainence.
When destroyed they can be replaced immediatly, but it will take another two hours to raise the shield again.
Space Station
Only attackable by overt players when shield on ground is destroyed.
Platform to launch captial ships from
Protected by ground based shield generator
Heavily defended.
Expensive to maintain.

When destroyed a guild looses it's ability to launch capital ships.
Space stations can be shared between guilds. You can charge another guild to use your space station.

Ways to take out a captial ship
Destroy it or disable it + Board
Boarding allows you to take out ship components (Piracy)
Boarding allows you to capture the ship and transfer it to your guild ownership.
