Thread: Dropping Questbasted Piloting Skills?

I finally was able to learn my first tier3 skill but accidently clicked on the wrong option and now Id like to know what happens if I drop the skill, will I have another chance to pick a new skillbox or will I be stuck forever?

If its like any of the other skills that you drop you are out of luck. You will have to do it over again.

Even better - we cannot drop em!
Now Im stuck with my crappy equipment at crazy hard missions instead of using my lovely lv7 stuff ... weeeee!

Seeing as most people pick the level 3 ship skillfirst it shouldtn be that big of problem

Yep. Gotta have that X-wing. I'll live with lv5 compos for a while longer

Odd normally you should get gear first since level 7 blasters and shields are way better (and of course way larger) than level 5. Though in my rather pathetic (crit failed) 39k tie/in I can fit both level 7 weapons and shields, a 78 speed engine, sufficient reactor etc... Which seems to make getting the ship go faster.
Though I grant it depends on your situation that maybe you can do better with more mass if it isn't quite as simple a ship as the tie/in.
I don't think there is much point in letting you unlearn skills, since you just do the next quest/grind and pick the box you want. Though if you picked droid management or special tactics I could understand your discontent.

I chose the second skill he offered and learned that pilot tactic crap instead of equipment C or the xwing certification. blargh.
