The last 7th Oct 2004 I preordered my copy of JTL with bonus from a company that import games from USA to Europe,i live in Spain and i really want that speeder. The company is ImportMadness.com, they chargedthe preorderinto my credit card and then i was waiting for the 27th to receive my game.
Then I receive yesterday, the 27th, an email saying that my money is refunded to my account and no more, not explanation at all. I send them a reply to ask why I can't get my game and the money refunded (and also they money is not yet in my account). Hours later i received another email explaining me that they don't have that product and also that i could order a normal copy of the game (but without bonus speeder).
Really incredible, what are they waiting for?? Now i can't preorder the game in other shop and I have no possibility to obtain that bonus speeder.
I'm in contact with a lawyer and also with a consumer organization to solve this problem. Yes, i know is only a game but this is unfair and i think a fraud. I recommend SOE to speak with this fraudulentcompany and ask themfor some explanation about this false preorders. I'm onlygiving you this advice, take care of this shop, they are not 'playing' fair.
And, please, sorry for my english.

Yeah, that's why SOE suggested GameStop or EbGames. I personally would not trust anyone else, even Best Buy. As far as legality, it is a bonus or promo CD's. Since they are free anyway, I'm not sure what you can get them in trouble for. False advertisement on a free product? It does suck, but I doubt much can happen. Well in the U.S. anyway. In Europe the laws may be different.

I know thesuggestion from SOE to buy at GameStop or EbGames but i had problems in this sites with the verification of my credit card. So i decided to find an alternative, and obviously a wrong way

Wow that's too bad... I, however agree, that someone has to be responsible for all this chaos...
