What freelance fuighters can have Hyperdrive. I can't seem to be able to find this info.

Also, where the heck can I find a hyperdrive...have yet to loot one or see one for sale.

Man, there should really be a better faq for this.

The hyperdrive is automatically included when you install your engines and reactor, you don't have to install it seperately. Any ship therefore with a player installed reactor and engine is capable of hyperdrive. Your starter ship can't be upgraded so it's not capable of hyperspace... if you recieved the Sorosub vetern award, it is capable of Hyperspace.

any ship apart from the standard starter ship has hyperdrive capabilities. even if you had a starter ship made it would be able to jump as long as you have an engine and a reactor.

there is no hyperdrive part as such just the engines and the reactor.
