well i have tried over and over again, with friends to, but i cant seem to disable the lambda before it destroys me and my budy this mission is driving me crazy im thinking of droping pilot and seeing if another trainer will take me in. If anyone has any suggestions on how to beat this mission please let me know

What I did was take out the escort fighters first. Then disable the shuttles weapons. I did this by creeping up on his behind. I think I was between 500-540m out and could shoot him, but he didn't open fire on me. Just matched my speed with his. After his weapons were disabled, it was easy to cruise on up and disable his engines. Got to do it quick before he hypers out. I grew tired of waiting for one of my buddies to help so Ijust did it solo. Hope this helps.

Wish I had gotten that tip a couple days ago. I ended up getting a friend to help after I got killed about 6 times. With two people we still took a beating but won the fight.
