Okay I'm having trouble with boost.
I have a booster in my ship.
I get a little green bar that is on the left side(touching) of the speed indicator.
It looks different than the indicator in the manual.
I get into space the little bar says 1499. it's about 1/10th the size of the speed indicator. I press "B" to boost but nothing happens. Am I supposed to do something first? This should be that hard, and make me look like a tard.

hmmm not sure what's happening here, but when you click Boost, can you hear your ship go into a deep rumble? you should also see the stars wizz by you a little faster than normal. The bar on the left is the throttle, when it is green all the way that means full throttle. When you click on boost at full throttle you'll see the top portion of the throttle bar turn red, which means boost is active. It will eventually stop once it uses all the energy so you will have to wait for it to recharge again. hope something in this post helps? wait, dumb question i know ..... did you load the booster?

by load the booster, you mean load it on the ground through managing the ship? yes. I added a booster while on the ground.
Nothing happens when i hit that button
