When the first Star Wars movie came out (Epiosde IV) The first thing you see is a corvette, being chased by a Star Destroyer. I have yet to see either of these in game. Isn't the empire supposed to have the upper hand in this time period? But jedi are also supposed to be rare.I feel as if SOE is trying to re-write the Star Wars Trilogy Saga sometimes. There need to be gargantiuan ships that would take 20+ pilots to destroy. or even replacing Imperial and rebel stations with capital ships.
Also, once we do get capital ships, i'd like nothing more then to board the opposing faction ships once they're disabled and have my way with the crew....no not like that...i mean run around on the decks slaughtering rebels/imps, stealing loot, and things of that nature, escaping and then blowing up the ship.
Capital ships - star warsy!

I would have to agree, from the surface of most planets if you look up you see several ISD's, but when you get into space they are not there where are they.

hi,
they are in low orbit shifting the tides of the planets... beside that, the devs stated that they are not forced to stick to the timeline. So take the game as an alternative timeline, there are already to many failures.

There is supposedly a Corellian Corvette and Imperial Star Destroyer in the PvP area, both of which can be attacked. They also said they modeled a Nebulon-B Frigate but I don't know where that is.

I agree with Atti:

That is one of the things I would love to see in the game, launching an attack on a capital ship and boarding it to kill rebs/imps. Ihad hoped that it would be a part of JTL, maybe you can and nobodies done it yet who knows. I that the devs consider the viabilities of this in future updates/expansions.

I'm positive that the Corvette missions (hopefully you're all familiar with them) is a test to see the viability (and stability) of creating and managing multiple ship interiors. I believe it was this test that lead to the Yacht Vet. Reward, which is possibly another test for the same system.
Once the bugs are worked out on these smaller scale I'm sure the SWG staff can figure out a way to have capital ships and (dare I say it) raids on said ships. A few blasts with a high power Ion to disable the craft then docking with a troop transport of some kind and you've got a really exciting PvP opportunity.
I'm sure the dev's see this, I'm sure they want this, as destroying player bases just isn't cutting it anymore. The ability to destroy/capture a multi-million dollar ship (probably billion with the current market) would open a whole new player market. That (I believe) is why they made JTL. It's to attract a different player base. Broaden the scopes a bit.
Just wait and see what comes after the combat revamp.

This is correct, as well as Corvettes in Kessel.

If you goto Yavin IV, there is a Corvette, near a Space station that looks like the Rebel (probably is too busy doing a mission), I don't know if its attackable, but it is there, no engine glow, just sitting there.
