Thread: Royal Guard Interceptor question/bug

Looking for some help here...
I recently did the quests to get the Royal Guard TIE Interceptor--got the badge and the ship.At the time I was 3-3-3-3 in Imperial Inquisition.
Last nightI grinded up to 4-3-3-3, expecting to be able to add my RG TIE to my datapad and start flying--problem is,I get a message saying that I don't have the badge to fly that ship. ButI do.
I'm wondering if this is some artifact left over from the problem people were having with the badges being mixed up,where people were getting thebadge for the Advanced X-wingupon completion of the TIE quest. Is anyone else having thisissue or is this something specific that I have to take up with a CSR?
Any advice would be appreciated!!

Who do I speak to to get this mission, can it be done solo & are there Gunboats involved?

It starts with the Kash space station--ask if they need any help and they'll send you off to go help a crippled freighter--after going back and forth to the planet's surface a few times to talk to Emya or whoever, you'll be send to the Imp space station in Kash and they'll send you out to do the local Vette mission. You'll get an Imp insignia hologram and the TIE.
By the way, the five badges thing worked--my ship is up and running. Thanks again for the info!
EDIT: Oh and yeah there are gunboats involved when you're trying to escort the Vette you've just taken control of. Be careful about using bomberstrike on the Vette to bring her down at the beginning of the mission--any damage you cause in bringing her down for the takeover will come back to haunt you as the Rebs launch a counter-attack trying to kill the Vette. The gunboat killed mine twice before I finally finished the mission. I'd so much rather destroy a Vette than try to protect a wounded one LOL!

Not to brag or anything, ....... oh all right then, did the heavy X as a 1122 pilot with just my rebel droid programs, it wasnt that hard.

The Vaksai, RGI, and Heavy X all use the same quest.

I have not done this mission in particular, but I have managed to solo4/4/4/4 in many of the squadrons which involves countless escort missions and multi turret gunboats.
If you managed to pull this mission off with a Basic Star fighter (20k mass) or a LongProb (single weapon), lvl 3 components and lvl 2 Rebel only Droid Commands!!
You are good!!, and deserve bragging rights. ![]()

I should explain, I was bugged on this mission since the launch of ROTW. So when I went Jedi I ran a wook as my alt up to 1122 for the bandolier and then sent him out to do this.
I used a REed lvl 4 engine and an REed lvl 5 gun and a crafted lvl 5 shield in a Headhunter with WO3 and the engine an cap overloads i could fit in a lvl3 astro. Had no trouble with it at all.
