ummm.... space really does not have an airflow...the fact that designers keep putting wings on starships is hilarious due to the fact that space as no/limited friction, so designing them is virtually unlimited. The only part that comes into play is the inertial mass of a ship, not if it's aero-dynamically correct :>. Having said that, yes SWG does support rudder pedals, but not in the same sense as it would for a flight sim.

On the whole wings on starships thing, they do have atmospheric flight in Star Wars, just not in SWG.
As for the rest of the info thanks....I was hoping to use CH rudder pedals and the Saitek x52....

I have a Saitek X45 joystick, and I use the "rudder pedals" on the throttle to control roll.
As for my CH rudder peddals, SWG only lets you choose 1 joystick so I can't register the pedals nor the joystick at the same time >_<
My guess is that if there is a controler that combined your joystick, trottle, and "foot" operated rudder pedals in one handy USB plug.. that might work.

not really. the game will not support 2 joystick type devices.

Wings also function as mounting point for weapons/missile and a thruster on the end of a wing creates a lever effect, less energy/fuel expended for rolls.

Most starship designers put wings on their ships to make them more efficient for atmospheric flight/to use for gun mounts/as reactor-aiding energy helpers such as the TIE's solar panels.
