Thread: Idea: Mon Cal Species Ship Schematic

In the same vein that all Wookies get the Bowcaster schematic regardless of profession, wouldnt it 'fit' that all Mon Cals get the schematic for the Mon Cal starship (which I believe is a fighter, although I was hoping for the Mon Cal light Freighter) automatically.
Would people be for/against this proposal?

I like the idea but Mon Cal starships are capitol ships roughly the size of a Star Destroyer. But if they 'miniturized' them into smaller fighters it would work.

Obviously this guy didn't buy the Special Editon of Star Wars Galaxies....
In the Special Edition customers also recived a book of concept art for the game. At the end of the book was a page or two of star ships that were concept art designs of ships that might be in Jump to Lightspeed.
One of these concept designs was a small ship called the Mon Cal fighter.

Personally I find the concept of a Mon Cal warship in the current time frame a little, well 'off'. This is mainly because its well established that the existing Mon Cal craft were all converted civilian craft.
The old star wars rpg has 2 examples of a Mon Cal light freighter that, in my mind, would have been much better choices for a Mon Cal specific spacecraft (however that bring us into the multi person craft arena of the YT1300)

I don't normally drop a necro, but in light of the recent discussions concerning what to spend our Prestige on, I thought this was a little interesting.
