ok what was the greats star wars moment you have had in space mine was that me and this imp guy attack a blockad runner and 2 gun boats he called in a bunch om ties and itwas a great battle so much fun so what was the greats moment in your gaming life

I had a great space moment the other day. i'm a good pilot, but i had never before soloed the Star Ravager Corvettein Kessel. The mission was for my second pilot mastery (vortex squadron, smuggler's alliance was my first). I loaded my Y-wing to the limit with missiles, guns, armor and shields. First i took out weapon 5 in 1 pass with blasters blazing. Next i came from behind and took out both shields with 2 mark III protons to each. The escort fighters got me at this point, so i repaired at Dantooine station and headed back. I took out the engines on my next pass with blasters, but instead of flying under the corvette like you should, i flew over the top of it and got taken out by the top turrets. The escort ships flew away at this point. I headed back and crept underneat the now-crippled corvette, and took out each turret one by one by hiding in their blind spots. Reactor and bridge were gone a minute later.
Another great moment was last night. I had my Alliance Ace Pilot tag on, so i got invited on a corvette attack run. Just for fun, i put together an Awing. Never attacked the corvette inone before butI hadgrouped with people while flyingall theother rebel ships. This was the most fun i've ever had in space. With a mark IV proton launcher, 1 missile will disable any corvette component. I took out turret 5 with my one measly blaster, one shield and turrets 6 and 7 in one pass. And by pass i mean one big long loop around the corvette, not single runs and single missile launches. the Awing is such a small target that you just don't take many hits, and a 1900 point mark IV crafted shield was enough protection to live to get away. We had about 15 people in the group, and after me and another Awing took out the engine, everyone else dismantled the turrets. Then we waited for everyone who died to get back to kessel before we set off the fireworks. It was a blast.

ok last weekend i was in my guildies Nova for the first time ever. this was my first time being gunner on any ship ever. ok so i was kinda sucky. lukily he has some really nice shileds and a really nice gun mounted on her. So a tier 3 or 4 tie interceptor comes in and starts laying down alotlittle fire. Finally we decided he might actually kill us (he wasn't doing much damage, and we could have outran him) so i tell the guy to turn up (so i on the top can fire at the TIE) just as i do the tie , that has bascially been camped on our tail, boosts past me in the turret and i get like.. ehh one tiny glancing blow. He comes around, i miss completly. He comes around again, i hit him real goood, but the ships moving so i lost him. Finally i saw the fire coming from behind, turned and blew the crap out him "hey.. i got one .. i got one" ---- "don't get cocky kid" (good dialgoue between pilot and i)

Best space moment? Probably in one of the weekend Starsider space battles, when 20 Rebels were coming at about the same number of Imperials. They came from above relative to my Interceptor, so I looked up, and saw those small glimpses coming closer, diving at me. The radar was a mass of red dots, and my scan warning kept beeping, indicating I was targetted multiple times. Pushing the throttle forward, and flying at them with the rest of the squadron, smack into a large furballreally was Star Wars like it should be.

Ok so lets talk about coolest space moments ever, well I'm not a master pilot yet, soI wont even look twice at a corvette. But my friend is, and of course hes got the rebel multi person ship. We go up for some fun, now this is the first time EVER that I've used a turret, so I have absolutely no idea what to expect. So anyway we go up, the pilot, his wife and me. We run into some heavy duty targets,I would tell you what they were, but I was so busy shooting thatI couldnt pay attention. Well we have a TeamSpeak account, so here we are sitting in the turrets and pilot station yelling things like "Contact 10 O'clock low, roll me port and Ill blast him" and whatnot.
Suddenly we take a few missiles down below and they punch through the armor, the pilot and lower gunner hop out to effect repairs, and Im left alone with about 20+ fighters bearing down on us. I cant hit em from the top turret soI hope into the bottom, and start blasting away. I take down at least 6 before they disable my gun. I hop into the top turret and manage to blast away 2-4 more before my buddy could hyper us out.
When we got to safe space we busted out the brandy and cheered ourselves for a night of good work.
