Thread: I reserved game at local Gamestop and didn't get a disk for flash speeder

I didn't ask specificly for beta disks, but I asked if there were any disks that came with it. The guy went in the back and looked around and couldn't find any.

I was under the impression that if I go to Gamestop and reserve the game that I am supposed to get a Flash Speeder. I asked them if any bonus disk or anything came with game for pre-ordering and they told me no. What am I supposed to do to get this flash speeder?

Go and ask them if they have any of the JTL Beta disks thats the CD-Key you need. My gamestop had a few extra beta discs still in their draw (actually a lot of them)

Ask for the beta disk thats the extra disc you need they do have them they received them 2 weeks ago.

I called and asked and they said they never got that disk in and don't have any. Guess I'm screwed.

yeah that sucks check if theres another one somewhat close to you maybe can find one there.

it was a limited quantity, thats why i didnt pre-order, my bro did and he got the speeder, but i played around with it and it wasnt much else than eye-candy, it was pretty slow, it does look sweet though.
Oh, and bummer for ya about that whole situation. If they said they didnt even get any disks, thats messed up and/or the person might just be stupid and not know what to look for

I asked the same at a local shop near me and they claimed to know nothing about it, thankfully though I was able to cancel my pre-order there, and pre-order at another shop (both EB Games in my case though) where they did have pre-order copies/beta disk boxes left. This was some time ago however, so aswas suggested I would check otherGameStop & EB stores to see if they still have any of the betadisk boxes.

I think the guy was stupid because when i got my disc the guy said no we dont have them then another attendant overheard him and said yeah we have them in the drawer. Sucks though and it is only Eye candy its the slowest vehicle in the game so your not missing much.
