Thread: Has anyone been able to BUY JTL today at a retail store?

Just wondering, because I went to 3 stores on my lunch hour, 2 of them (Media Play and Circuit City) had no idea what I was talking about and didn't have it anywhere on their shelves. Media Play couldn't even pull it up on their computers. And Best Buy states in their in-store ad that it will be on sale tomorrow, 10-28. I thought 10-27 was the release date...

well, I live in canada, and my store hasn't even got there shipment yet....so no, no stores around me have it yet, and I preorder from EB

I live in sweden and 2 of my friends got it today from their
local game store.

I was able to get mine at a EB Games store. I had to go to a second one after purchasing my copy of JTL, but they had them there as well. I went to the second one because I wanted to buy Morrowind:The Elder Scrolls III Game of the year addition for X-Box and the one store didn't have it. I was buying the console game because I was expecting a huge download from the second patch for JTL, but I recently read in the thread I started about that topic that someone on dial-up only had about a 45 minute download so seems I bought the game for nothing.

I tried gamestop, walmart, and best buy and all told me they wouldn't have it until tomorrow.
I called another gamestop in the area though and they had it in stock. Try another store if you have one.

I got mine in Pickering Town Center in Canada today 15 minutes ago. (Pickering, Ontario, Just east of Toronto). If you are having problem try there if you can. Thay have lots.
Now I just have to wait another2 hours 15 minutes, 10 seconds'till I can leave work.

Best Buy, Circuit City and Media Play almost never get new games on release, they get delivered to a distributing center first and then to the stores. You should check a video game store to see if they have them in stock. Most of the ones in Palm Beach County (where I live) are already sold out. Makes me glad I pre-ordered mine.

Does Yesterday count?
I walked into the Gamestop store at Mall of America and bought JTL which arrived ten minutes after I prepaid for it... I went back later and picked it up.
Also they gave me the preorder box... they had ten copies left, so I got the speeder and was able to play JTL yesterday too.

I went to my local Best Buy. It didnt have it. I then walked down to a EB Games which is in the same retail area and picked it up. No Pre-order necessary.
