what are the disadvantages. A privateer get any ship right? so why be anything else. This may sound like a stupid question but i couldnt find an answer

Are you aligned with any faction, either Rebel or Imp if you go neutral? Who do you PvP with, everyone? I know I know...I shoulda tried it in the beta :/
