It's not an error.

Once you start putting high-level, custom equipment on your fighter, it starts changing the appearance of the ship.

That X-Wing has upgraded, high-level engines. If you're a rebel pilot and you get a hold of some, your X-Wing will have the same appearance.

At least he didn't accuse the Dev's of "Screwing the Pooch" before he posted. You probably wouldn't have gotten that type of treatment if you 1) just asked what that was all about, or 2) didn't flame before you checked your facts.


How serious an insult does "screwing the pooch" sound to you? Really, tell me. And be honest, I dont want any BS.In my post I also said "I have really enjoyed the game thus far I just couldnt resist " Does that sound like an insult/flaming or good-humored messing w/ somone? Yeah, thats right. Real good point you made there, buddy.

Come on man. Its like how queer used to mean odd and now is commonly accepted to mean homosexual. We're living in 2004, so it's what things mean atm that matter. Dont go around calling things or people queer if you think their weird. And dont assume somone's accusing you of bestiality if they said you screwed the pooch, because their not. Yeah, your post was so innocent that you felt the need to edit it out. You're real credible. You wanted no BS, so after you were corrected, you edited your post away. Don't be so sensitive. You accused those in marketing of screwing up to. What you said was a flame, even if you did include "I'm enjoying the game so far." Thats why I didn't attack you in my initial post.


And as far as the "real good point" remark is concerned: you're one to talk. You're initial post was about something you deemed an error by SOE when you didn't have your facts straight.
