How comes theNon-US population of SWG is so ill informed.

Perhaps someone can tell me the date that non-US players can actually play (or even receive) this expansion. I pre-ordered JTL a while ago and when I checked my delivery status this morning - it had not changed. Curious, I checked the date of release and it's beenchanged to the 5th of November! - Not only was it a kick in the guts to find out the US players were going to be able to play this 2 days earlier (if our release date had remained the 29th) but now they may have weeks!

I ordered from a UK online shop so maybe the game has been put on shelves over the country (if someone could let me know if this is the case I would appreciate it), I don't know. It seems the only way we could have played earlier would have been to order from the American stores. I wonder how much they've lined the pockets of our beloved SOE to get those rights (Galaxies home page was practically giving the appropriate stores top advetising space!). It's just wrong.

So all I want to know is when are people outside of the US going to be able to play JTL? And why are we not informed of the change of release date? Also, what has delayed the release?

there has been a load of posts about this from the UK players, most of europe has it and the US has it. guess we just are'nt good enough.

the release date has been pushed back in the uk because for some retarded reason games will not be launched in the uk on any day other than a friday and they need time to get the local distributer(activision) needs time to get the game out to the retailers and also i'm guessing it needs to be repackaged into the DvD box.

there is however a light at the end of the tunnel. there are ways around the stupid release date.

ione method is to go to dlgamer.com and just get the cd key register the key and then wait for the download and bang off you go into space.

another method is if you have a trusted friend or guldie that lives in the US, paypal the cash to them and get them to buy you a copy then just send you the CD-key, register, downlaod and fly. they can always post the disk to you at a later date.
