Hi, i'm a Rebel Pilot 1000 (got the one skill after a quest). Now that i have the Y-Wing certification i decided to buy one. So i bought a Y-Wing chassis blueprint from a vendor. Now i got it in my inventory and have no option to generate it. I have even destroyed my startership to make place in my datapad, but that didnt help. Then i bought a cheap Z-95 chassis blueprint from the bazaar to test this, but this couldnt be generated either.

Can anyone please help me and tell me if im just doing something wrong or if its a bug?

They aren't vary clear, I stumbled on the answer to this myself.

What you have purchased is a BLUEPRINT for a chassis, you have to get the accual chassis from an NPC Chassis Dealer which is located in every Starport on the right side (behind the desk that used to have no one behind it pre-JTL). Talk to him and he will let you trade your Blueprint for a completed Chassis (12k for a Y-Wing).

Now you will be able to add components to it!

Note: You need to add an Engine and a Reactor to the ship before it will be able to get off the ground. Shields, Weapons, Armor, and eventually a droid can all be added as well. A chassis is just that,a chassis, you add the guts.
