...today when I go into space, I will be in space for just a few seconds and my ship will just destruct. I am not hearing anyone shooting me, nor do I see any damage on my ship's shields. But I just explode out of no where. Has happened to me at least 5 times today. I keep wondering, does a ship have a self destruct key or something that I might need to change in my keybinding? Any information on this is greatly appreciated. I am a Freelance pilot with the light syck beginning ship and am trying to do the Dravis in Mos Eisley second black sun leader mission. Thanks guys.

Okay everyone ready for a good laugh..there was no problem here. I had my escape pod set to my cntrl key so everytime I would go and try to open something up like the skills, I would blow myself up. LOL. Now do I feel stupid. This thread can be closed now.

Ejecting causes your ship to blow up - You're probably getting the eject off (click on the red button).

Ya I really found it funny after the fact...I tell ya I was getting so mad, cusing the works...boy was my face red when I figured it out. I went in and told the csr's in the chatroom about it with an apology to SOE even though I know they couldn't hear me. I don't mind if people get a laugh out of this at all, because I can't believe just how stupid I was.
