As I said, I got JTL today having already bought my ship to use, and all the correct tier components to go in it. The only problem is, despite having all the correct equiptment, I can't actually fire my normal lasers! I've tried light cannon, light ion cannon and prototype cannon in my ship, and none of them have worked - when pressing left mouse button to fire, all I get isan annoying clunking sound.

Has anyone else had this problem? (I did search, bit found nothing)

Check the 'Capacitor Energy' level of your 'installed' weapon capacitor. It should have numbers like 500.0/500.0., if the left number is 0.0, you need to replace your capacitor.

Ifyour capacitor is ok.. when you are in space.. hit the 'G' key on your keyboard and 'restore defaults'for your weapon slots.
