It's a great piece of decoration. You can use it to "link" boxes and stuff together so that it looks like wiring. And if you haven't finished the "deliver parts to nien nunb" mission in the rebel theme park, then you can use it to finish that quest.

Other than that, it has no use. Just like the "X-wing power couplings" I've got in my house.
