Ok wel lfirst off i have a 2gig procesor 512 MB of ram anda Radeon 900 pro II vid card ( got a gforce FX 5700 in the mail on the way ) But the thing is im on 56k......yeah it sucks i cant get Cable due to being in the boonies.....and DSL is about 70 bucks and where i am the quality isnt to good and i dont think it comes ot my house.....and satelite is a no no lol...... but my question is of course since im on 56k will i lag horribly?? When i play the game regularly i dont lag horribly at all unless im walking into a area with way WAY to many people ( like a live event )

If anyone can answer this it would help me so much ive got my JTL reserved and saw that someone with ASDL had 660 ping.....mayby it was a spike but it scared me that if someone with ADSL has 660ping what mine would be....

Space is markedly less laggy than ground.

yeah ive heard people say since you dont encounter ALOT of people at once and space is so big that i shouldnt lag,

Im afraid though ill be flying my ship and a player enemy or a NPC enemy wil lcoem up and ill be flying and dogfighting and ill shoot my lasers but it wont hit due to the lsight lag.....so i dunno oh well at least ill get to fly around lol ^_^

I played beta on 56k, and TC is always more laggy than live, it was fine most of them time, although occasional bugs made horriable lag for everyone, but thats just beta

So, in short, you should be fine!

You shouldent lag anymore than on the ground.

I have always thought connection has less to do with latency than your graphics card and comp speed.

Well ok then yeah i only lag on ground if there is a live event going on so i should be ok.....and with the new graphics card comming in im set thank you al lso much really you all have been a great help

i have dsl. i ran jtl beta on my comp and didnt lag too much. i didnt track my ping though
