No, I dont mean stars, as thats all suns really are. I mean the 'official' sun of the planet whose system your in. What made me think about this was when I was flying around in the Tatoo system. Tatooine is famous for its twin suns:

If you can see a planet's sun(or suns) from the planet's surface, you should definitely be able to see it from outer space atleast as big as it is on the planet, if not bigger. And, knowing that SOE obvioulsy didnt simply forget to put the suns in space, I'm just asking if anyone has seen them. Must be a bug in my game or something.

Well, of course not. You could go blind so you shouldn't look... lol
I have another question. Has anyone tried to fly into a planet before? I was just curious how close you could get before something happened.

Yes, I just so happened to have just tried that about 15mins ago. When u get close enough u get a system message saying something about you are leaving the area your engines are effective(or something, sorry, bad memory) and when you keep going you start moving...up...or at least it looks like it(but your not really moving), as the 'stars' that are going by you arent going horizontaly past your, but verticaly past you all of a sudden..its weird...but no, you cant run into one

The only question I have is if they are out there, why arent they where they should be, like the two suns in the tatoo system?

Actually, the sun is much smaller looking in space than from the ground, but you're right, it should still be there. We also see Star Destroyers from the ground, but none in space. In fact, is only one ISD in the whole ****ing game. That, plus two corvettes in the kessel system, makes up every single capital ship in the game. But, I digress, suns would be nice.

Well, I remember seing stars that were slightly bigger and were shining a lot brighter than the normal stars. I believe that's supposed to be the suns, I even think I saw two around Tat.

Maybe the suns and the star destroyers are on the other side of the planet than you are.
I mean it's not like you can flip around to the other side to check so how would you know they aren't there?

Well, considering the side of the planet I can see is not covered in darkness, it would lead one to believe that I am between the planet and the sun. Not to mention a sun will . . . you know . . . move
(as will a star destroyer)
i really don't care about suns as much as I do capital ships though. 3 caps in the game . . . pathetic . . .
