Jump To Lightspeed Archive

I got back into SGW today after a long time away. I got the JTL expansion and did some space missions. I then noticed I had an email...it said I could claim a veteran reward...turned out to be a Luxury Yatch. I decide to take it out for a spin and launch it into space....I start sitting at the controls and see the button to leave the pilot station and press it and walk around my new ship. I marvel at everything for a bit then find an elevator....I put my mouse over the up button and double click...nothing. Oh well...I will just pilot it for a bit....I go back to the cockpit and double click on the pilots chat and all it does is bring up a description window with a spinning chair. I try everything and nothing works. I can't even access the permissions terminal. The chair next to the pilots chair I can sit it but I cannot access the pilots controld. I am effectivly trapped on my ship.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I have been away a long time and am still learning alot of the controls but I have reread the manual and even checked the control options in game and I am stuck.

I got it figured out. As I suspected it was my own fault. I was not waiting long enough for the radial menus to come up. The ship is really nice and has lots of rooms....much nicer than I thought a free ship would be. Thanks for all the suggestions.
