I'm curious to know wether people actually would like to see Hoth as the next planet available.
p.s. It doesnt have to be Empire Strikes Back timeline to have a planet. Obviously its been there for quite sometime.
the PRO's
a. Creature Handlers will have new creatures. Eample: ( tauntaun and wampa )
b. The devs can finnally add in Snowspeeders.
c. It would be great to watch a large scale battle between Imperials and Rebels. ( minus all the jedi ) 
d. Also, i wouldnt mind seeing this planet as hard to get to. It would allow JTL only.

If Hoth was added, they could add some special quirks, like- youHAVE TOwear special warm clothing to survive the climate, and you HAVE TO head into sheltered areas or camps at night to survive, and your vehicle/pet's vitality or power reduces at an accelerated rate.

Well its a good idea but it wouldnt work in the game. Requiring that you have to be overt in order to visit the planet is a good way to make ppl quit playing. Adding in extra features and then isolating players who just want to be neutral will not work. The Planet will be open to all players and all factions. There will be a battle ground area that you can join where a battle will rage on for as long as you can survive it. Death Star will be a great addition along with the Planet Kashyyyk. It would spice up the SWG universe.

Um, im sorry. I only asked for a /sign if you were interested in seeing Hoth as the next planet. I didnt as kfor a report on why this and that wouldnt work.

Another reason why this game is going downhill. I dont care that you didnt ask for a report. You threw in your 2 cents when creating this thread and so did everyone else. If you cant stand other ppls opinions other than your own then you dont need to be posting.

Except one thing:
Wouldn't the battle last at most only a few hours? I just can't see Hoth being implemented with a huge widescale battle between Imperial and Rebel forces going on for several months.

I agree that the planet will be a great addition to the SWG universe. As far as a widescale war going on all the time will be highly unlikely since they DEVs have already said once the planet is added it will be in the timeline of after the war is over. There will be a battle ground area that you can enter once you choose a side and participate in the faction war. The hoth planet will be an adventure planet with dungeons below the surface. Along with a good selection of creatures.
