Yup, does that with me too, usually it happens when I'm traveling to Dantooine...at least lately.

That used to happen to me all the time. I finally upgraded to 1gig of ram and the game plays perfectly for me. I think there is some kind of timeout situation if it takes to long for your computer to load the next area. Man I used to hate that so much.

Yeah, happend to me too before I got 1 gig of RAM. If I launched into space or traveled anywhere, it would take forever to load, and then I'd crash to the character selection screen. It was sooo annoying, especially when I was grouped up.
But now that I have 1 gig, it doesn't happen as much... but it still does happen every now and then.

It happens for me very rarely but is usually followed shortly after by a lost connection message. If your connection drops, the game eventually defaults to the character screen so maybe you are getting dropped by the server during travelling.

YA I HATE THAT! I have 256 ram and my computer is awesome other than that. I get can't even move in large cities because it is so slow. I have to live on the backwater planet of Dantooine because of this. I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I need to upgrade to 512, would that at least help the slow cities. I hate the character screen thingy too. The game is great though, I love it even though itrequires lots of RAM. Man, Icould travel to cities without a lot of lag life would be awesome. I would so move to Naboo!
