well when your working on pilot the quest are pretty fun. Teir 3 quests can get old fast but youl be a better pilot for doing them. teir 4 is still a long 4 mil xp grind but if you do the various quests it goes by pretty fast.

Also awkward controls is your perseption not bad game designs. If find them to be very easy to use for both mouse and joystick, especialy since you can always change the keymap to whatever you want.

So forget everything you learnt in beta about managing different ships.
