When are they going to fix the problem with JTL. Tired of trying to complete the first mission when you cant damage the enemy ships. And i dont recieve any damage from the enemy ships either. I've shoot at enemy ships and hit them, but no damage is done ( by leading and shooting directly at the ship ). If you are hitting the ship there should be damage done no matter leading or shooting directing at the ship. So what these people going to do. Begining to feel i wasted $20.00 on something that messed up. They need to fix this problem. How many bug reports they need before they catch on there is a problem. I read this problem didnt start till the combat upgrade.

Don't take this the wrong way, but welcome to SWG and SOE's style of management. Promise costs 19.99, but it doesn't always deliver.

Right now the only thing that's still true about the game on the box is the ESRB ancillary warning - "game experience may change."

None taken. I see all the fixes for other parts of star wars galaxies, but havent seen any for JTL.

It's my opinion that JTL is seen as a minigame of sorts. I think the only reason it's getting any attention at all is because it's pretty much universally accessible to newbies looking for cash or a "non-MMO" experience to kickstart their "adventure."

That's why all the new ships are "free" and the quests to get them are so damned easy - never an NPC over CL35, and never a ship enemy over Tier 3.

All they have to do is keep a garden variety newbie interested for 31 days.

I beg to differ. The Heavy Xwing quest spawns some tier 4-5's.

I agree though, the lack of attention to JTL issues and bugs is pathetic. It's just like everything else in this game, they are more involved with pushing out more NEW and BUG ridden content than fixing all the old issues.

I don't know.... I have the same problem of not being able to damage enemy ships, but they sure can damage me.

I've sent that in twice to customer support and both times they used some kind of automated form letter to (and it took me time to decipher what they actually meant) inform me to bug report it and leave them alone.

You would think after the second time, referencing the first time, they wouldn't have sent the same form letter, since I was asking for clarification as to what it meant, rather than my experience. Sometimes I think customer service needs to install a brain instead of doing everything by ritual. Interaction is the key to success in all things.

It's called lag, and this problem will persist in every computer game until we discover "subspace" faster-than-light internet...
