I haven't played in a while, decided to pick it up and try again. I now have the JTL and RotW expansions; my character is Imperial. Can I fly the YT-1300? And do you have to be certified to do so?


(I'm at work right now and don't have access to the manuals - it's been driving me nuts so I figured I'd ask...)

You have to be a master privateer (Smugglers' Alliance, CorSec, or RSF) to fly a YT-1300. You can be a privateer and an Imperial on the ground, but if your space faction is Imperial as well, you'll get the Decimator instead of the YT.
