Thread: whos wants a POB only droid with room for additional flight chips?

as title says.... we get other POB sized equipment, seems strange we dont get a larger special droid chip holder for it, so the co-pilot can utilise a larger variety of droid commands than a normal small fighter ?
( especially as thats all he really does ! )

Eh, I don't really think we need a bigger flight computer for POB ships... you can already fit all the useful commands onto a level six flight computer.

Besides, you're exceptionally limited on what programs to use during a fight, since the program timers keep you from spamming anything, and the only program with a decent Combat timer is Cap to Shield Shunt.

Actually, I kinda like this idea, since it would give the opps guy more to do.
I loaded up a level 6 droid with level 3 overloads, just so I could fit in some shield programs to keep him happy during flight. I think a POB only droid might be interesting, and as you said above - the natural timer limits would keep it from being overpowered.

I'd like to see one that is hearty enough to hold all of the programs. This way your co-pilot can employ more strategy to tweak the different bonuses in-flight. If they improved the cycle times for the programs so a command could be issued every 30-45 seconds, it would open the POB ships to new possibilities.

Either that, or add elite droid interfaces, with speed ranging from 8-5.
