Thread: Havoc Squadron, Tier 2 mission #2 Bugged? Workaround?

I just did this mission no more than a month ago with another of my characters and had no problems. It's the second missions from Lady Viopa to inspect a Lambda Shuttle for information.
The Lambda is not a mission-generated spawn, but instead a wild spawn in the Lok system and comes with 2 TIE Interceptor escorts. The mission generates a waypoint where the ship typically spawns.
The problem I'm having this time around, is that no Lambda has spawned near that waypoint all day. TIE Interceptors are spawning in pairs (but if I'm not mistaken, the Lambda's ecorts aren't just named TIE Interceptor, they have a name with "guard" in the title) nearby. Another Lambda spawns about 6k away, roughly halfway back to Lok Space Station. I've inspected ships from that spawn a dozen times or more and haven't found the data I'm looking for. This Lambda also does not spawn escorts.
Has anyone else had a problem with this mission lately? I've aborted it, landed, re-gotten the mission, and launched again, but still a no-go. The only Lambda within 10km of the mission waypoint in any direction is the one near the Space Station.
Any help or possible workaround would be appreciated.

Problem solved. Found one of the Elite Guard Interceptors wandering around about 10k from waypoint in the other direction. As soon as I destroyed it, the Lambda and it's two escorts spawned right on schedule. Mission complete

Very Very interesting... if what you say is true it is a spawn cleaning issue like the Vettes, you should realy send the pilot corispondent a PM about this or start a thread explaning this in the pilot forums, many have had trouble with this and this information may help a great may people.
