Thread: FP Reward for Killing Corvettes, Bugged?

I was just noticing last nite as In deep space blowin up Vettes and Gunboats.
Gunboats give about 200FP per kill. (makes since 2x the guns 2x the damage from fighters)
Corvettes only give 90 FP per kill. (makes absolutly no sence 2x the damage 4x the guns of fighters)
Also I think the credit reward is only double from fighters (1kI think)
Yes they do give alot of Prestige points (42000), however prestige is totaly worthless.
So basicaly the only reason to kill Corvettes is for there loot and go get them out of the way?
Please tell me that it is bugged and the reward for killing thise nasty buggars is increased. 
(edit: PP reward for vette is 42k not 32k, also am getting 90 FP from vettes now, point still stands tho)

i havent kille dthe SD overt but i would hope is would give out huge amounts of FP since well 1 its a SD, 2) its got 99 freakin guns and 3) it just makes sense

Only 500fp + 50 COA bonus

There might be one reason why the Corvettes give less FP than the gunboats: There are no imperial Corvettes in Deep Space. Wouldn't surprise me if the devs thought it would be too unbalancing when it comes to faction farming. *shrug*

There used to be imp corvettes,I know iv seen them before.
Mabey with this patch they are gone now or something?
Or they could have been destroyed by players before you got there?

I go to deep space rather regularly, never seen a single imperial Corvette there.
There is of course the "Star Ravager" in Kessel though.

Ever got any loot from a corvette? I haven't (not counting the credits)

I think I got a lvl 10 cap off one with 56 recharge, I know I got it off something in deep space. Most Likely a Corvette or a Gunboat

Have to agree - Corvettes aren't worth the time to attack in Deep Space. Though they are much tougher than Gunboats, the rewards for them are pathetic. Little FP (if you are Overt), little cash, and rarely any loot. Plus it seems everytime you fire on one, a fighter squadron appears from nowhere to defend it adding their firepower to that of the Corvette itself.
Pick on the Gunboats - easier to kill and much better rewards.
