I have to admit I am a little concerned about the financial viability of this update. It seems to add some interesting content, but it is hard to see how this update would be one that would warrant a separate purchase. I don't find it as inspiring as JTL. Now, if they added entry to space stations, a few larger ships to control in JTL and perhaps flying mounts, customizable vehicles, etc. perhaps it would have more appeal. I just dont see how a single Wookie planet and a few ships for harvesting asteriods and jedi inspires a person to open thier wallet.
Just my two cents. I am sure thier intent was good, but I think it was misdirected. A single planet does not a successful expansion make.

Enhance your character with radical new cybernetic parts that add special abilities and improve your performance in combat
Cool! I'm going to pay a Jedi to wack my arms and legs off, get cybernetics, and re-name my Wook to Stumpy Mc Gee! ![]()

This has not been released yet. I think we need to get a letter together and send it to the devs before this disaster is released. They need to take more time to add more content before it is offered to the public.

It appears the CU is a free upgrade, the RotW is a paid expansion. I have started a petition in this forum to delay the paid expansion for reasons indicated in the thread.

Can someone explain what exactly this means? It sounds like a free download.
For those who own Star Wars Galaxies™: An Empire Divided™, they can download and play the Star Wars Galaxies™: Episode III Rage of the Wookiees expansion on May 5, 2005 for a two week preview of Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiees appearing in the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

OH MY GOD. They want 25 dollars to pre-order a digital download?! There is NO WAY your getting 25 dollars from me just for one damn planet. JTLS was 20 dollars but it added 4 new professions an 10 Space zones. That was actually worth it. But 25 dollars for a single ground planet and 100 missions is just not going to cut it. I would pay 5 dollars to download it an that is it.
