I'm having some problems with JTL and joysticks. I just installed JTL, and the drivers for the new USB joystick I got. When I get into space, the joystick isn't working, even when everything is set to default. I calibrated the joystick, checked in "control Panel" that is was "OK", and get nothing.
Second problem, when I disable the joystick and try to use the mouse to fly, the camera stays at a specific angle relative to the space, not to my ship. I'll spin and rotate and move all around, but the camera stays at the same position, it doesn't follow my ship.
Anyone having similar issues? How'd you fix them?

Not sure about the Joystick issue yet, I am work but I think there is a setting somewhere that you made need to change to identify the joystick as the swg default one.
For the camara thing you may have accidentally hit the camera target lock toggle. I think it is the num lock key but check your key mappings to be sure.
If it is on then your camera will stayed lock on what ever you have targeted and you will spin around while the camera stays on the target.
