I just picket up a Y-wing Longprobe for 100k, and the chassis guy charged me 25k to make it.

I searched and couldn't find anyplace that had reasonable asking prices for chasis that were made while grinding. I'm selling X-wings for 170K and they aren't moving at all.

i think the original poster might have meant how much it costs to get the blueprints turned into deeds at the chasis dealer. as for pricing on the blueprints, expect to see shipwrights selling for about 3 credits per resource used. that makes:
tier 3: 180k
tier4:240k
master: these are different, expect to pay 750k-1.2 mil
i believe chasis dealer is:
tier 3: 50k
tier 4: 75k
master: 100k

Ok, you greedy shipwrights out there need to stop overpricing this junk. I found a guy that sells blueprints for the same price the chassis dealer charges to build it. He makes more than enough money. (especially off of me, I shop at his vendors exclusively now)

you think we overprice our goods? some people sell ships for cheap because they either have other ways of making money, or already have tons of it and are selling their grind stuff for real cheap because they want to get rid of it, or because they are getting free resources from their guild. selling ships at those prices to make a profit is financial suicide. if you buy your resources, that costs an average of 3-7 credits per unit, or if you harvest them you have to pay to get the harvie and pay the upkeep for it. ask other crafting proffessions what the average price for their wares is and most of the time it will be more than 3 cpu.

I have to admit at first I thought 90% of shipwrights were rip-off merhants because the odd one would have say y-wing longprobe blue prints for 25k and the next 10 I checked had them at around 100k. But it became obvious that it does indeed take ALOT of stuff to make a ship and so most prices are justifed. There are still people who charge way over the top though, I've seen a tie advanced going at 700k which just made me walk out of the shop and never come back.

hehe Nice find :-)
I picked up a Dunelizard for 6k,
and at Ixiyen for 40k
I dont accept the 3 CPU crap alot of merchants claim, Hell I'll MORE than happily supply all the required minerals for a craft!!!
it will take me FAR less time to harvest resources that it will to generate 200k - 400k in credits
see them chassis's dont require extra subcomponents, they dont Massively benifit from exerimentation so what gives ?
but ehh thats just me

if you wanna supply your resources, then fine, get your ship for free, but us shipwrights have to make some money, so we charge a fair price for our stuff, what gives is that these ships require TONS of rseources, and harvesting them or buying them can be expensive, and just because some people sell ships for crazy prices, doesnt mean higher prices are ripoffs, im tired of somepilots thinking that just because they have seen a ship priced lower then one that im selling means that im ripping them off

An Xwing uses around 100k in resources (maybe more if memory serves, I will get the exact amounts tonight). Selling an Xwing at 3cpu is not overcharging. Some people sell weapons at 20cpu and they don't even use loot. The difference lies in the amount of resources being used, and the quality. If you want us to use the highest quality resources to make get the mass and HP of the ship as high as possible, then you should expect 300k Xwings.
Right now I am trying to sell my grind quality Xwings (98k mass) for 100k each and people still won't buy them.
