I know you can in a X-Wing but is it possible to in a TIE Fighter?

it can be done in any ship but you gotta screw around with your controls. first group each weapon individually, as in one weapon in group one, another in group two, another in group 3 etc.
then go to your control map and change your main firing button to fire then cycle weapon group. each time you pull the trigger it'll switch to the next weapon.
it's a great if you wanna use an ion cannon to bring down their shield then a disruptor to smash their hull

Thats not what I meant, I meant is there a way to change it from shooting 2 lasers at the same time to shooting 1 laser at a time?

In a newbie TIE Prototype, Fighter, /In, Interceptor, and Aggressor you only have one (pilot controlled) weapon. You can not make that weapon fire faster than it's Refire rate by breaking up the visual effect of multiple projectiles (laser bolts). In a TIE Advanced, Bomber, and Oppressor you could try to force a system that keeps multiple weapons staggered.

yes and no.
If you have two laser cannons, you can put each one in its own group, and use the "fire and select next weapon group" command.
But if your talking like the old sim series where it would fire 1 bolt at a time in rapid speed, then no, it can't be done in JTL. (IE. Chain, linked, quad fire)
