If your DEFINATLY on the terms, then either let them come kill you, better than not grinding any exp at all. Or spend the 3 weeks in space.

Do you have access to a remote landing area? Like the Emperor's Retreat?

You can die in space without any xp loss as a Jedi, unless you die while inside of a POB ship from a plasma fire or the like. Generally speaking, if you're walking around inside of POB ship, it's just like you're on the ground. If you're piloting, co-piloting, or on a turret, you're safe from the normal challanges that Jedi and Padawan face.
Landing after flying is no different then when you load in a starport when traveling on shuttle. The same risks apply as soon as you hit the ground.
When you die in space, you get wounds and BF. If you're buffed, your buff will stay even if you die but the wounds and BF are still applied.
Hope that helps.

To add: This really hasn't been a problem for me. Yes, sometimes I'll land with 600 wounds on health, action, and mind, but I just gobble some vercupi/brandi/canope/piketta/synth steak or whatever is appropiate and then head over to the local cantina.

Yes...while at the Space Station get the options to land ect and underneath those options is one to do some work for him...take the mission and go and kill some tier 3's...only takes maybe 10 mins and after you complete you gain acces to Emperors Retreat....When you ask to land there it asks if you will be welcome there which is fun
