Thread: Wookiee left out again and how to resolve

Wookiee keep getting the short end when rewards are wearables. In JTL it is true of the Master Pilot missions. If JTL was being truly realistic then I would not be flying around in my X and A Wing as I would be too large.

But there is a simple solution:

Design two items that Wookiee can wear to show there standing. Put a Wookiee NPC near the final mission givers and let the Wookiee trade it in for an item. NPC could check your race and if you have a qualifying item to trade and speak to those wookiee that meet the requirements.

And please, when the rewards are wearables in the future, remember your wookiee members.

Don't wookiees get a bandolier that can hold 50 items?

Naplam,

No we do not for Master. Just the same one everyone can get for the tier 1 missions. I just finished my Kessle(sp) mission and got a Rebel Ace Pilot Jacket, not wearable by wookiee and when server is back up I will do the Vett and get a Rebel Master Pilot Helmit... also not wearable by wookiee.

I agree with the other poster too, SOE = wookiee haters

Ya know I like playing my Wookiee. One thing I like about being a Wookiee is that we arn't just really big humans. I wish that more things in this game reflected the Star Wars univers.
If you are just a power gamer you should stear away from the alien races that don't have power game advantages. There are still some things in this MMORPG that are there for the RPG reason.
Shocking as it sounds my Wookiee is usually totaly unclothed. I prefer this because it's the Wookiee way.

If I ever see the Imperial faction offer anything to a Wookiee other than a slave color I'll know it's time to quit this game.

There are some Wookiee issues I have. Bowcaster range mods are awful. Only Wookiees should be able to use the Rykk blade.

This is a sensible Wookiee. Really, ALL alien players need to realise two things:

1. No, you should not be a member of the empire, let alone able to wear uniforms, hats, or anything else.
2. You ARE different to humans, you should not be able to wear everything Humans can wear, or have an equal item for everything. You chose to play and alien, now live with the consequences.

Is it just me, or do you get the feeling that the people constantly moaning about how ill-treated the alien species are, are the players who chose race at the beginning based only on what stat-bonuses they had, rather than a race they wanted to play?

I kinda agree with the last two posters, but would it be that far out of the Star War realm of possibility to see , for example, the Rebel Alliance reward their Wookiee master pilots with a sash instead of a jacket? (altough I agree with the original poster: I wonder how poor Wook will fit in a XWing cockpit lol)

Every one gets that. Plus it's not viewable on us.

That seems a very arbitrary thing to say. I see no reason not to have equivalent items. Yes we should have different things, but I don't see why we shouldn't have any things.

Besides, the poster above uses the word "alien", aren't all species alien, from a certain point of view?

I'm kind of amused that a "no love for Wookiees" thread is coming out around Life Day.

Still I would like to see a helmet or somethingthat I as a Wookiee could wear. Heck, even a necklace. I think it's silly I can't wear a necklace. Or braid my fur when I can braid many other races' hair.

My main is a wookiee, and my third main is a ithorian (my fourth and second mains are a human and rodian )

but yeah we should get something different that we can wear at the master missions.

well maybe the empire would give us something like.Abandolier with the imp simbleon it(for rp purposes).

And the alliance, a ithorian/wookiee rebel helmet so it fitsour huge(and small, thin) heads.

And neutrals, maybe a new type of wookiee clothing(perhaps a jacket type clothing but looks wookieeish). And maybe a new type of ithorian jacket?

anywayI think, even though we did know that being a alien ment not being able to wear certain things, we should get different rewards so it fair

P.S. Im sure im going to get flamed, trolled, one-stared and called a noob but what the hey
