Thread: How do I uninstall JTL?

I am currently imbrued in the ground war. The JTL expansion has added 10x the lag I had before I installed. Recently I read that it was due to the fact that both games were ran under the same server clusters. The game in space seems to not really link with the ground war and so I have not been in space since the first 4 days that JTL came out.
How do u remove the JTL part from the loading of the game? Oh, and.. is there a way to return it for a refund?
I could use a little help.. I cannot have all this lag in PvP. I am running a gig of 3200 DDR and a geforce 4 5900.
Is there anyone out there who has figured out how to un-enable JTL? If I cannot return it, no worries on that, I just have to axe it from my system pronto is all so I can get back to playing the game. As it stands, I have turned all of my graphix down and it is still really bad. It has to be due to JTL cause I was fine before I installed. It is making it so bad that I have to run into buildings to manuever items in my inventory.

u cant return any games for refund...try ebay...
as for uninstalling..did u try "add/remove programs" in your control panel?

I play on a comp with 512RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce4 Go 32M and I have no lag?? O_o
Compare:
3200RAM - 512RAM
GeForce 4 5900 - 32MB Grafic!
Uber - Crap
Laggy - no lag???

I don't think he meant 3200RAM as in 3.2 GB. I think he meant PC3200 as in the speed of the RAM. At least I hope. If you 3.2 GB of RAM and you are lagging, well JTL would be the least of your problems.
I hate to tell you this but I really don't think unistalling JTL is going to fix your problem. You might want to run ad-aware or spybot to see if you have any spyware on your system. Maybe run a virus check. How much RAM do you have? You need to have at least 512MB. Do you run any kind of firewall on your computer?

Nope not gunna help for a start you can't sell jtl on as it is now linked to your account with soe.
Which means even if you manage to uninstall it when you logon it will download it all for you.
Also the ground based game has become a lot laggier since they did the update for jtl however this is only for some people.
It is now almost unplayable on my laptop although If I get more memmory for it, it may get better.
