Can someone post the difference between all the missiles and its functions.

Someone said Concussion missiles are good vs for shields.


Also, they supposely made it so missiles will now have more of a chance to miss its target. Therefore missiles should then packmore power than they have now.

I use missiles all the time but the truth is missiles don't really have much impact on damaging a ship and on top of that they're expensive.

Concussion is best against shields


Seismic are best against armor (never used them)


Protons are like a blasters kinda good against both but not great against either



I use them sparingly when I need that extra damage or need a shield down fast. As for your last statement. Its common sense if missiles can miss more then they should do more damage BUT it is the dev's of SWG we are talking about. So I would bet a million bucks that they do the same damage or have been nerfed in damage.

I understand perfectly well who is involved (devs) so having been here for over a year I already know how they operate.

And then you have spacebombs, which, with 21k max damage, are just good against anything.


Also, you will have more difficulty hitting more maneuverable targets with missiles. It's just as well to stick to your guns with fighters.


Missiles are great against more stationary objects, i.e., gunboats, stations, vettes. Especially the vette. Each gun can be taken out by one solid mark 4 proton hit.
